Vintage may be the watchword here. Other old items seem new again, such as the planted chair with a welcome sign, at the lovely Cooks' Gardens...
...And a weathered birdhouse on a ranchette near Corvallis, MT.
Over at Jan's Family Styling is color of another sort...
...Mothers bring in boys to get their summer cuts, older ladies get tight perms and some of the rest of us get other salon services while listening to talk of the latest, local wedding's attire: bridesmaids in short mail-order cotton dresses (J.Crew), footwear that's their own cowboy boots and fat bouquets of the season's wildflowers. Sounds like my kind of do.
Elsewhere and outdoors, the beauty keeps on coming and changing -- from a moon rising over wild flowers to flooding of the Bitterroot River to spectacular clouds and event mist atop Bitterroot Mountains.
