Spring in MT

In the rear footwell of my 13-year-old Subaru are examples of how weather in Western Montana may fluctuate, especially in Spring. Right now, the footwear du jour is somewhere in between these extremes. Weather this week is mild and wet. We like wet. It means our gardens are watered, and up at higher elevations, there's snow to keep the snowpack as full as possible before the heat and storms of summer bring chance of wildfire. Just sayin', I may be in flip flops later this afternoon but I'm not giving up on boots with IceTreks for hikes, just yet.

Stay tuned in June for lots of garden photos. (I haven't been blogging much lately because there's so much to do in our own garden as well as on my favorite new project, the Bitterroot Secret Garden Tour.)
